Winter Inn has been offering fine dining and hotel space to the Greenville, Michigan area for over 100 years. Our building was built around 1902 and is named after the former owner, T.B. Winter. In its earliest days, the Winter Inn was one of two first class hotels in Greenville and served many of the visitors who arrived in the community on the railroad. The train station was just three blocks east and the Inn maintained its own stagecoaches to transport guests the short distance.
In 1978 a major restoration project was launched to bring the facility to its early 1900's state. The facility reopened in early 1980.
Today, the Winter Inn is family-owned & operated by Wade, Becky and Barry Thornton who recently have remodeled and renovated the hotel rooms, bar, and dining area. Our staff provide a warm charm found at the Inn by pleasing their customers with not only fine food and service, but also with a pleasant "home away from home" feeling that has come to be Winter Inn's tradition.
